EMBRACE YOUR RESET OPTIONS
It’s five o’clock in the morning
I’ve slept the whole night through But five is too early to rise for me Is it too early for you? I pushed the reset button And told my mind to relax But it just wouldn’t stop sayin’ Go dig in the fridge for some snacks!
I found some left-over pizza
And a bottle of wine jumped out, too But it’s only five in the morning Too early to drink and to chew Go back to bed said my senses Close up the computer and fridge But that pizza looked so tempting Come join me – we’ll eat just a smidge!
When I saw in the corner a bottle
Of that left-over yummy red wine So what if it’s five in the morning Come join me – it tastes mighty fine! Reset the clock for tomorrow It’ll be here before we are through And maybe you can slip under the covers Before anyone else has a clue
This ain’t my usual posting
No scriptures or sermon notes here But, heck it’s five in the morning And the Devil needed his reset, too! EMBRACE YOUR RESET OPTIONS
Thanks for clickin’ in to JanBeek See ya tomorrow? Or maybe at a decent time later today…
I lie there awake
It is three in the morning Counting sheep in vain
Counting sheep to go to sleep doesn’t work!
Last night was the same
But I told my friend Derrick That I’d count ponies
He had a wonderful collection of photos of ponies on his blog.
Check out his blog.
It won’t put you to sleep. It is delightful reading and his photography is superb!!
Now I need to count ponies and try to get some sleep.
What works for you when you can’t sleep?
See ya later
It’s the middle of the night here in Ennis, Montana, USA.
I can’t sleep. Do you ever have that problem? What do you do about it?
There’s an old song that comes to mind.
These may not be the exact words, but it goes something like this: When you’re troubled and you can’t sleep, Count your blessings instead of sheep; and you’ll fall asleep counting your blessings.”
See you later! After some restful sleep… If I can just get TazE to stop waking me up! . . .
OK, just be happy…
Life is good- Even at 3: in the morning!!
Who can sleep tonight
With the moon shining so bright?
Go beller at it!
See ya later
Don’t Complicate Life!
Some days seem extra hard;
Things just don’t start out right.
You wake up tired and you know
You didn’t sleep well last night.

You try to fix your attitude
By focusing on something sweet;
You look in the refrigerator
For some satisfying treat.
But nothing seems to help you;
You’re just feeling sad and blue.
Maybe if you write about it,
Joy will return to you.
Your blogging friends have felt
Days when everything’s askew.
Why not spill your guts to them,
Like they’ve poured their hearts on you?
Well, spreading sadness seldom works
To make the situation better.
It’s like trying to dry a dish
With a towel that’s even wetter!
I found some sites on the internet:
And their quotes do what I like to do:
Find love by giving it; so come along!
When you miss somebody, call them.
When you’re lonely, stop by or invite.
Explain and listen when you’re misunderstood,
And ask questions ’til you see the Light!
Say it kindly when you’re upset,
And don’t forget to tell it when you’re pleased.
Ask humbly for the things you need,
And put away that tendency of greed.
Practice these attitudes; exude patience and joy.
Life can be simple; no need to complain.
There is sunshine aplenty just around the bend;
No need to stand there and get soaked in the rain!
Have a simple,
See ya tomorrow
Soon enough the sun will dawn
And I’ll greet the early morn
With a shiver and a yawn
Wondering why when I was born
I could sleep like a baby, but not

Time has no meaning
When the hour says sleep
But the mind won’t rest
It’s no use counting sheep
The sheep just leap
In endless white streams
Over fences and clouds
And steal my dreams
I toss and I turn
And finally give in
Time has no meaning
Much to my chagrine
So whatever the hour
Be it twelve o’clock or two
Come visit my blog
I’ll be sleepless with you
