In the snow there’s light
When sun shines and leaves diamonds
Sparkling so brightly
Last night it snowed less
Than it did a year ago
But BRRRR, it’s colder
It was minus eight
When we woke up this morning
Back in bed we went
Climb up the staircase
To my angel room above
It’s much warmer there
Bob joined me upstairs
For peacetime to read God’s Word
Angels surround us
Each one has meaning
The name of someone on earth
Some already gone
But I know they’re near
In our hearts and in this room
Watching over us
Sue is SandAngel
GlassAngel is named Toni
Joe’s the wooden cross
Each item in here
Has a story to tell you
Holy Spirit speaks
Do you have a place
Where you can go and know peace
On cold snowy days?
Come join the Beekmans
Our home may be messed up, but
Not the Angel Room!
Come and sit a spell
On this peaceful snowy day
You’re always welcome

The Word of God brings comfort:
Philippians 4:6-7
6 Do not be anxious about anything,
but in every situation,
by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and
your minds in Christ Jesus.
Thank you for continuing to pray for Bob
as we work together trying to get the medication
he needs for his heart ailment.
Did I tell you that after co-pay the first month
of the medication costs over $3,000 ??
Pray that we can get assistance from Pfizer,
the manufacturer of the medication, OK?
This is a life-saving treatment plan
that we need… God knows that!
Thanks for visiting JanBeek
See ya tomorrow (God willing)
No reason to be afraid!
Take peace… He’s in control!
Where do you find your peace, my friend?
I hope it’s in your heart today!
Let faith rise up in you…

That is a lovely snowfall you have at your house. A good day to crawl back in bed for the second snooze! Your little upper room sounds like the perfect spot for you! I hope you can get some assistance for your big meds bill! Take care,
Dwight
Thanks, Dwight. Monday will be the move back in for stove, fridge, and living room. And yes, Bob has lined up help. No way we could do it ourselves!!
A very wise decision. I find I am not what I once was … not even once!
Hah!
Thank you, {{{Dwight}}} – hugs to you. Thanks for visiting and taking tie to comment. I appreciate your good wishes.
How beautiful, Jan. Yes, I’ll join you both in the Angel room. Continued prayers for Bob. It was 60 degrees here Monday and Tuesday. Today freezing rain, ice, subzero windchills tonight, and 6-12 inches of snow. I’m calling my tiny house my haven. It’s filled with God’s word, good things, and the best~my pup, Finley. Sending warm
Hugs and prayers~Karla 💙
I know about the love of a sweet pup companion. Our TazE (10yr. old Boston Terrier) is a source of great joy in our home!
So sweet! My twin sister lost her beloved Boston, Odie, several years ago. It still hurts her heart ❤️. TazE sounds precious!
Treasured pup! Yes, we sure enjoy her. Thanks, Karla, for your response.
Thankyou Jan❤️ I loved feeling your cold snow and sitting in your angel room a while! So peaceful and loving. It did me good🥰🙏 sending love to you both x
Thank you for joining us. It really is a divine place! 👍🏽❤️🙏🏽
It’s good to see you both smiling. I hope the right meds do the trick
Thank you. I’ll let you know if we ever are able to get them!!
I’m praying BIGTIME that you get the financial assistance you need to get this treatment! Has he had any of that medicine yet?
Nope – not yet. But we’re feeling very hopeful that by next week we’ll have a breakthrough.
This is so beautiful and inspiring – the pictures and the writing! Blessings! ♥
Thank you!
