Peace and Love

Good morning to you
Hope you have a happy day
Filled with peace and love

The world’s in turmoil
But in my heart there is peace
It comes from my faith

I know God’s in charge
I know I have no control
Over behavior

Others’ behavior
Others’ mindset and actions
Are beyond my reach

Pray serenity
Is yours today and always
Let’s just love, okay?

Hugs,
JanBeek

It’s truly out of control. Peacemakers are targeted. No one is listening. Panic mode. Fuel prices increasing. Soon food and commodities. Leaders throwing a whole generation into a meat grinder. Soon hundreds of thousands of people will be erased, and for what? I’ve gotten soft in my old age, I don’t feel the need to participate. Protestors on central corners throughout the community ready to fight rather than assemble peace. Went to the grocery store today, I saw rushing around and panic buying. Do they know something I don’t? I’m going to pray 🙏 for the rest of today.

  5. We cannot control others, we can, with the help of the Holy Spirit, take every thought of our own captive to obedience, and He will give us peace.

    • “Captive to obedience “ – I like that – yes! I pray each morning: “Lord, help me live with an attitude of gratitude and a response of gratitude, obedience, compassion, and integrity… in Jesus name, Amen!”🙏🏽

  6. A great post, Jan. Good words of wisdom for all of us.
