If you could wish
On a dandelion today,
What would you with for?
What would you say?
I wish for peace
And an end to all wars.
I wish for love
And joy to be yours.
I wish for plenty
To be shared with all,
For hope and grace
To never be in shortfall.
I wish for gentleness
And patience to abound,
For music and laughter
To be found all around.
I wish for health
And for patience every day.
I wonder what you’d wish for –
What will you have to say?

Wish upon a dandelion.
Let your imagination fly.
Wish for what you want the most;
Wish for things you cannot buy.
Back in 2020
When the pandemic was raging,
Laura Sullivan wrote this
(I found it quite engaging):
I wished for an end to
That horrible virus time.
My sister died in the middle of it.
Couldn’t see her; T’was a crime!
I wished upon a dandelion
That our world would soon be well;
That once the pandemic was over
We’d get outta this COVID hell.
But, it appears to me this virus
Is sticking around like the flu.
So, let’s wish upon a dandelion
That it stays away from me and you.

Lord, be with my special friends
Who visited my blog today.
Help them remain healthy;
Keep all the bugs at bay!
Help them know that wishes
On dandelions can come true.
I wish for peace and love and joy –
Not just for me, but also for you!
What’s your wish today?
(If you don’t have a dandelion available,
remember, a star will do!!)
A star or a dandelion,
Which one will it be?
Makes no difference –
Make a wish and share with me:
What will you wish for today?

I wish I could go back to being a kid again. No more political agendas, no more manipulation, no more Wuhan bioweapons labs, no more political divides, no more inflation, no more nonsense. Just let us all be kids again.
Ah yes! The age of innocence- I could go back, yes…
Good morning Jan, hope you had a blessed Easter and life is treating you well❤️
My always wish on a star or dandelion is to feel the christ consciousness flow of love, joy and peace within and without me every moment❤️💃🌈
We are so blessed to be living and sharing now how we can move forward, changing the world one breath at a time. Much love to you jan❤️
Thank you, {{{Barbara}}}, for your lovely response. One breath at a time, yes! A breath of love and gratitude 🙏🏽 As Donna at “The Father’s Feet” and I prayed today, “ Thank you, Heavenly Father, Thank You for reaching down and pulling us out of the muck and the mire.“ We live in gratitude! Yes! We are blessed to be a blessing. You are that, indeed!
Our dandelions are not in seed yet X
Peace, trust, health, and safety. Love you Jan!
Love you too, Fran. I’ll pray those blessings for you, too. ❤️☀️👍🏽❤️
Hi Jan,
I hope your Easter was a great one.
Sending you blessings!
Thank you! It was a lovely sunrise service, a meaningful worship service at 10: and then a delightful potluck, fellowship time with a nice turnout of friends. Then we had a quiet afternoon/evening at home. How about you? How was your Easter?
Inspiring post Jan! I wish for more opportunities to see family who live far away, and I wish for a world (and nation) with much less strife.
I pray for those opportunities, too! Thank you for your responses. God bless you!
