I would like to go to work with my husband and “shadow” his job for a day. I know I would come away from the experience with a greater appreciation and understanding for all that he does. I already appreciate him but think my mind would be blown if I saw his dedication to his patients in person. It would be tough to work this out because he is a doctor 🙂
That would be wonderful to be able to invisibly shadow him for a day!

What a perfect day, Jan. My mind is swirling with so much. One day ~since you’ve taken care of the kids I’m going to sound selfish. I want one day where my kids, and tiny grands, are all sitting together at a table with me talking about the goodness of life, playing games, talking about Christ, how we can influence others with just a smile, ask forgiveness from one another for the rough years, and say that love will continue to guide us all. 🙏🏻💛

I’m at a birthday party at our local nursing home – helping serve cake, ice cream & punch. It’s a “job” that brings joy to the residents and to me … good for more than just one day!
