Unlock Your Creativity

There’s a muse who lives inside you
She is clever, strong and cute
She is lonely there and waiting
For your visit – she’s not mute

When you meet her, she will speak up
She will help you find your voice
Pick up pen and grab a paper
Writing is your muse’s choice

You’ve a muse who lives inside you
She is waiting to be free
Free to help you find your own voice
Unlock your creativity

My muse just woke me up tonight
She was screaming for expression
Turned my sniffles into giggles
Lifted me from my depression

She can laugh at my incessant cough
She can find light in the dark
Turn her loose and let her be, please
All she needs is one small spark

Don’t you wonder how she does it
How she keeps her spirit light
My muse is just an angel
Her encouragement is bright

You’ve a muse who lives inside you
She is ready to inspire
Unlock her full potential
She will raise your spirit higher

Creativity that’s hidden
Under cover we create
Needs our angel muse to lift it
Unlock it now – you’re great!

Let’s be the spark that lights another!

Have a great Thursday, my friend.
Unlock your muse – and go create!

Love & hugs to you,
from JanBeek

You and your muse are extra clever today. I loved this blog. I can hear a song in my head from it. I’m glad you were able to use some of you are sleeplessness this morning to do what you love.

  2. An encouraging post. Please get rid of that cough

  3. Another great creative post! 🙂
    Blessings!

  4. Loved your Muse dear Jan, and so glad she woke you up to grab your pen… and scribble her thoughts down.. Big smiles and Hugs <3

  5. Thank God for our Muse 🙂 Very well written and words of wisdom. Thank you.

  6. When that happens to me, I’ll write either a short story, poem or music. My muse must sleep during the day, because she’s busy all night long. I need to move to the other, side of the world, so we can have the, same sleep patterns

  7. There’s a saying: “We don’t live in the past, but the past lives in us.”
I try not to live in the past. But from time to time I tend to think about the past especially during night time: The people I knew, how they acted, special things they may have told me, and that might be of significance to future generations, and that I’d like to write down! When I miss out on sleep during the night, I have a few naps during the day to catch up on sleep. 🙂

  8. I love this, Jan. I have started a poem in my early morning dreams on occassion.

  9. Delightful! Our muse finds secret ways to unlock our creativity.
