The Days Blend
The days scurry by
Each one is hardly a blur –
Hah! Is that a lie?
Days blend together
With barely a distinction –
Can’t tell them apart!

Here we are TODAY,
Knowing that THATDAY will come
SOMEDAY – so just TRUST!
Let us not worry
About YESTERDAY or NEXT –
Just TODAY matters!!

Today is EACHDAY
Do not let it blur
Into muddles and messes –
Make your EACHDAY count!
Count all your blessings –
Count your prayers and petitions –
Count your kindly deeds.

Whether THIS or THAT,
Whether OTHER or SOMEDAY,
TODAY ‘s what matters.
So, make NOW the best!
THISDAY can be your BESTDAY;
Reach out NOW in love!

I love you, dear WordPress friends.
Thank you for following Janbeek.

We have trouble knowing what day it is at the best of times ๐
Hah! Thatโs true!! ๐
Jan, I just shared this with our friend Dawn in case she doesnโt follow it already. We love your Regular doses of joy and hope.
Love and affection,
Elaine
Thank you, Elaine. I love you! <3 How are you and Steve doing? Bob & I are hangin' in there!!
I must admit Jan, the days seem so much the same. I miss having the freedom to do the usual things away from home and see people out and about. However, I know I must remain safe and healthy. I have told some people my days seem to repeat themselves so I am feeling a bit like Bill Murray in “Groundhog Day.”
Totally understandable. I am sure you are not alone in these feelings, Richard. Hang in there! Keep your chin up and your humor intact. But, days DO NOT scurry by, I must admit!
