One of my favorite Christmas songs is “Mary Did You Know?”
The lyric I like most in it is, “Mary, did you know,
when you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God?”
And one of my favorite versions of the song is sung by the Pentatonix…
Have a listen… the words are powerful
and this quintet is magnificent!!
Did you know, the sleeping child you’re holding is the Great I Am?

Until now, I had never considered that Mary’s kiss would be to the face of God. At times, I wish that I could have the same opportunities, but I understand the earthly problems with that thought. I pray my soul and that of Alice will have the opportunity someday to express our love of God at his side.
