What are 5 everyday things that bring you happiness?
It’s not THINGS that bring me happiness. It is people and our new furry friend, Owen. Here are five of my many:

Bob, my life-long partner and joy-maker

DeDe, our precious daughter, who lives in Switzerland, and with whom I communicate daily

Tyroneeee, our wonderful son, with one of our great-grandchildren (sweet Mable Iris).

Our daughter#2 Laina, and our daily communication via WhatsApp bring such happiness!

Oh, I could go on… friends bring such happiness. It is their love and sincerity that makes my heart swell.
I hope you are blessed with the joy of people who bring you happiness, too.

Love, love & laugh!
Hugs,
JanBeek

Your life is so full and blessed!
Yes, 👍🏽 I know I am more fortunate than most people in this world 🌎 …. And I do not take it for granted. I know I am blessed to “bee” a blessing… and so I consciously reach out to others. Blogging is one way to do that. I hope you feel especially blessed, too. 👍🏽❤️🙏🏽 Thank you for your response.
What five things brings me happiness on a daily basis? While it’s tough to limit myself to five, I’d say at the core, is Alice, my life long companion and best friend. In a ring around her, would be my memories of the times and people with whom I shared my growing up years. Especially when we communicate by phone or text. As I spoke with one, on Saturday, Victor, as he was in Mongolia, about to teach a class. And encircling that ring of friends, currently is my daffodils and tulips, which reminds me of my grandparents in San Mateo during the 1960-79 time frame. My grandfather taught me a lot about agriculture and floriculture for which I could never grow tired of his teachings. And of course, the Beeks. Role models for which I admired and aspired to be like.
What a beautiful response, Peter. Thank you so much! How fun that you were able to be in touch with Victor in Mongolia!!
