Loving One Another

Take time to smell the flowers

Along life’s busy road

Their fragrance fills your senses

And lightens your heavy load

Flowers are companions

Like pups, our furry friends

Who give love unconditionally

No faking – no pretends

Flowers lift our spirits

In ways little else can do

Take time to smell the flowers

I’m sending these to you

Have a blessed day!
Take time …

See ya tomorrow

  1. Thanks Jan. Unfortunately, a pulmonary condition has left me without a sense of smell (which can be a good thing sometimes!). It’s odd, though, how I can ‘imagine’ scents in my mind … like the pinks my dad grew in the garden (and his pipe smoke) and Coty L’aimont, the perfume my mum wore.
I love the picture of the dog sniffing the Sunflowers. 😁

    • Thanks, Derrick. I know you and Jackie take time not just to smell the flowers, but to plant, cultivate, fertilize, and enjoy them in a multitude of ways… and you take time to enjoy Nugget and his/her song at the same time. Lucky you!! ❀
