Reason to Celebrate

When you pray to God for a friend’s upcoming surgery and recovery and God responds by helping your friend to come through with flying colors, that’s definitely a reason to celebrate!

Daily writing prompt
When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

God is so good!

David is evidence of answered prayers.

Can you imagine how happy we all were when we could see David looking so chipper?

Having projects to complete definitely helps with the recovery process. Sign of success: yay!!

Our prayers for David’s successful life are on-going.

Who’s the first person who comes to YOUR mind
when you think of “Successful?”

What reason do YOU have to celebrate?

  1. Oh what Joy Jan, congratulations to the mom and dad and of course you his great grandparents.
    What beautiful pictures…
    Thank you for sharing.
    Much love to you all
    🥰💕💕💕🥂

    • Thank you very much, Sue. ❤️

    • My grandson & his wife did not like Ethan’s photos to be posted on social media, so I took my definition of successful off and redefined with David’s successful surgery. Since then, David has had another stay in the hospital and bouts of nausea. Please continue to pray for his full recovery!

  2. Congratulations!! What a beautiful trio to celebrate! 🎉 they are precious. Such a darling little guy! 🙏🏻💕

This has got to be one of the most thought provoking questions yet. Everyone who has ever lived, or for that matter, ever conceived, I a successful person in my mind. It’s what happens to them throughout their lives which makes them memorable. How they spent their life. They didn’t need to invent something or create anything that makes them successful. Are they a good role model, did they love God truly in their hearts. To name one, would disappoint everyone else.

  4. I’m the happiest Grama in the whole wide world! Tania was in a labor for 42 hours, poor thing! 😮😮😮 But baby and mom are healthy and happy. Siiiiiiiigh. Life is GREAT! And soon YOU, dear momma, will be here, too! 💓💓💓

  5. PTL for David’s successful surgery, recovery and ongoing healing. That is reason to feel joy.

  6. Celebrating with you about David’s successful surgery. His recovery looks to be in God’s blessed hands. Celebrating upcoming birthdays of two of our favorite Ohio girls . . . granddaughter Addison and daughter Taryn.
