It won’t surprise you
That my favorite place
Is not in a city
It’s not far from my space
It’s my sanctuary
Up a circular flight of stairs
I talk with Jesus there
And give Him all my cares!

Up the flight of stairs, is YOUR sanctuary. And while I’ve seen it, it is your refuge. I respect that. That is why I don’t venture there. It is the woman cave in juxtaposition to the man cave. When I walk, I walk with Jesus. I tell him my thoughts, and he understands. The property in Oregon used to be my sanctuary. Here in Sedona, Alice is my sanctuary and my refuge. I trust in the Lord, and listen to him for his guidance. Blessed are those who find sanctuary in their lives and in their thoughts.
