Foggy morning
Drizzly day
Tomorrow sun
Will come our way.
Trees are thirsty
Flowers bloom
Drinking deeply
In rainy gloom.
Like the flowers
I, too, drink
Living waters from
God’s endless sink.
Daily thirsting
Drinking my fill
Living appreciably
In His Will.
Content to listen
Intent to grow
Letting His grace
And His love flow.
Foggy morning
Come what may
I’ll find beauty
In this day.
Raise my spirits
Lift my voice
Sing with the birds
Joy’s my choice.
Enjoy this day
Clouds will lift
Unwrap the beauty
Today’s a gift!

What a beautiful poem. And today — and every day — is a gift. Use it wisely, I always say, for it never comes this way again.
