Who’s here?
And how’s that an answer to this prompt?
What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?
Owen Leo Beekman, born on my birthday July 24, seven months old today. A seven pound bundle of joy!

He came in the Puppy Van from Springfield, Missouri

Bob & I lost our last Boston a year ago. The house has been void of that particular joy since then! But Owen is bringing such happiness already!!

Since his arrival yesterday, his ears are up, he’s settling in, he’s learning his outside place to “go” and he’s snuggling gleefully in Bob’s lap or mine!

But, having a pup in the house is also challenging, you know? He changes your routine to his. He says, “Don’t be gone too long!”

But he loves lap time best! And he hasn’t tried out his bed with blanket yet. This is only the end of his first 24 hours with us. Owen has a lot to learn … and a lot to teach us!

But today, he chowed down and drank generously. Yay!

See what a perfect little guy he is?

How long has it been since you had a new puppy or kitty in your home?
What “challenge” are you facing in the next six months that will ultimately bring you joy?

Joy comes in many forms. But, it’s out there for you. And it’s in your heart ❤️ and home if you just recognize it, welcome it, and embrace it.
He’s here!! Yay!!! 😀

Congratulations and welcome to the Beekman family Owen Leo! You’re gonna love your new parents and Montana! Don’t go poking your cute face in any dark corners.
Thank you, Laina. He’s such a good pup!!
At least you know what you are in for 🙂 X
He’s been such a delight so far! Only one “accident” in the house. It’s too cold and windy outside!! Need to find a more protected outside space! Meantime, we’re having a great time with Owen!!
Hi! Owen is awesome! He will love his new home. Praying he and you and Bob will have an easy transition and training time. ❤️
He’s a happy one!
Thank you, Sue. Only one accident in the house (it was just too cold & windy outside)… He’s such a cuddly sweetheart!
I am sure you are going to love him very much.
Enjoy and congratulations on getting such a lovely pup! 🙂
Thank you, Uta! We are feeling quite blessed with this new source of joy in our home!
Love this – “A seven-pound bundle of joy!” Congrats, he will be a spoiled one and that is so good!
It’s impossible not to spoil him! Thanks for your comment. You’ve been here/ done that? 🤪
Awesome for both of you as well as Owen. I really like his name, and he looks like he’s adapting well to his new home. Jan, blessings to you and Bob for providing a nurturing home for Owen.
Thank you! It’s our pleasure. He’s a sweetheart!
