There is something so uninhibited about 11-year-olds!
Don’tcha just love ’em?
This is my grand-nephew, Declan.
We had such fun celebrating his birthday today.

You, my blogging friends, know I am in California right now.
Bob & I are here to spend time with his brother, Bruce (on the right)
and family before spending time with dear friends in this area
and then attending my sister’s Memorial Service.
Today was Declan’s 11th birthday celebration.
The weather could not have been better!

You can see Bob in the purple shirt on the left…
and my sister-in-law, Ann, right behind me on the right.
In front of Bob is Sarah, our nephew’s wife.
She’s the mom of the birthday boy!
It was great to celebrate with family.

This is Bob’s brother, Bruce & his wife, Ann.
They are such gracious hosts and loving grandparents.

We are so happy to have been able
to celebrate your birthday with you!
You’re growing up so fast!!

This is Declan’s sister, Fiona, and our nephew, Zak.
Our family members have matured so much since we saw them last.
Time marches on. The pandemic kept us away from one another over a year.
So good to be together again!

I hope you are having the opportunity
to reconnect with your distant family, too.
