Ps. 46:10
“Be still
and know
that I am God.”
I can be still.
I can quietly sit
Before the Lord.
No need to flit.
I used to flit
And flutter everywhere.
I needed to be busy.
I had so much to share.
But this pandemic
Has clipped my busy wings.
I’ve learned to sit
And focus on spiritual things.
I can be still.
I can happily stay
Right here in my sanctuary.
I’ll flit some other day.
And what are YOU doing today?

Sweet and beautiful Jan!! Indeed, we do need to flit but also accept and know what’s God’s plans are right now or anytime for that matter, we should know to be still and find happiness in that stillness. ❤️🤗❤️
Hope you and Bob are doing good. 😊

I appreciate you as well. God bless (((Jan)))♡
Currently, there are so many reasons to flutter…though, in the midst of it all—I remind myself: Be still & know that I am a God. I need only be still. He is in control.
He certainly found a way to clip our wings with this pandemic! I have never spent so many consecutive days at home in my life before now!!
One of my favorite verse, that is how I came with my blog name quietmomentswithgod.
There is such wisdom to be gained! <3
Yes there is I love to read the book of Psalms
I read a chapter a day to correspond with the number of the day. 31 chapters… 30 or 31 days… then I start over. Such wisdom to be gained, and each time a new gem pops out!! <3
Amen
Yes, indeed. But we are old enough to do that
You’re right, {{{Derrick}}} – It was much harder when I was younger! <3
X Me, too
