Spreading love, joy, peace, faith & unity

What a Week!

Problems
Creep in
Usually they’re unbidden
Happened all week long
Blame

Gifted
With Love
From my Lord
I did move forward
Strength

Possibilities
Are fueled
By firm beliefs
Making hard things easier
Faith

One step at a time
Life is easier with faith
Just follow the Light!

This last one’s a Haiku, but the preceding series of three poems (written in the German-inspired style of Elfchen or Elevenie) shares a total of eleven words in each poem, with a sequence by line of one, two, three, four, and one words.

I hope you had a good week.
Enjoy your weekend.

  1. I trust it will get easier for you

    • Thank you, Derrick. I appreciate your good wishes. Today with the temperatures in the single digits here in Montana, our heating system decided to go on the fritz!! We have space heaters and the fireplace and an open-door 400 degree oven trying to keep our home above 50 degrees inside! The plumber who installed the system just arrived – and I am confident he wil discover the problem and fix it. Life is about to get much better!!

  2. Jan, your poetry conveys the grit of Montana’s. Even though I live in Ohio, the Big Sky grit will always be with me.
