Every time Bob and I see someone who is driving like they don’t have a brain in their gray and wrinkled head, we comment to one another, “Too many birthdays!” We’ve been doing that for years. And guess what? Now we are they!!
Hey, her butt didn’t used to be gray!!!
Well, at least HE is they! At 81 (he’ll be 82 in December), Bob is 5 months ahead of me. He’ll always be older! I can smile in the rear view mirror, wear a hat to cover the gray, and pretend I’m still a young chick! Heck, age is just a matter of how you feel, right? HEALTH is everything! Love is essential. God is good!
Yup, today is my birthday…
and for the next 5 months,
Bob & I are the same age.
No way!!
The hair may be gray, and the face has a few added wrinkles with “too many birthdays,” but age is a matter of the MIND. Right? If you don’t mind, I don’t mind!
Just don’t call me old!!

Love your positive outlook on age! Absolutely, you are only as old as you feel, age is just a number, that is unless one no longer can’t seem to drive, then you’re right “one too many birthdays” lol.
Even then I think I’ll be able to be positive … just take the car keys and give them to my private chauffeur!! 🤪

Ah, I understand! My niece married a guy 5 years her junior. She was 40 and he was 35. But she looked 25 and he looked 40 because he lost his hair at a young age. Looks can be deceiving and age is really quite irrelevant as long as you have your health. Have a great weekend, my friend. 👍🏽❤️

It was a wonderful day, De. Thank you for your loving thoughts. The ladies were wonderful. The cake was yummy. The evening at The Old Hotel was delightful. The Groshong and Hundleys surprised me and showed up to share the experience with us. The food was yummy and the company was great, of course!
