Today is the day
Calling me to go outside –
Excited to ride!
TazE says, “Let’s Go!”
Can I invite a good friend?
She’d love to join us.
No, no cats allowed!
This is a “Dogs Only Day.”
Do you have dog friends?
No, but what about
Chocolate, out next-door neighbor?
Can she come along?
“No, TazE,” I said,
“This is a Dogs Only Day!”
Let’s play in the yard.
Oh, let’s play a game!
My buddy has an idea.
Can we try this one?
I said, “No, I can’t!”
Sharing wine’s not in the cards!
But TazE begged, “Please!”
So off we both went
To share a bottle of wine
With wonderful friends.
And we discovered
We were not the only ones
Sharing wine with love!
