A Dozen Thanks; 2 NOT

Thank you for the birds that sing;
Thank you for the joy they bring.

Thank you for the kittens and cats;

I’m even grateful for bees and bats!

Thank you for Italian moms

But, no, I can’t be grateful for pandemics or bombs!

Thank you for doctors, nurses, and CNA’s
Who still can smile through stressful days.

Thank you for the rivers, the stream,
And all the reasons You give us to sing.

Thank You for answering our every prayer
Even when it’s “Wait” – we know You are there!

Thank You is the least we can say
For giving us another beautiful day.

Be with us now and keep us strong.
May we sing Your praises our whole lives long.

Did you count a dozen reasons for thanks?
And of course, you saw the two NOTs!
Do you have others to add?

Have a Terrific Tuesday!
What song will you sing today?
Send me a link!

Here’s a link to on oldie that I love…
Tells you some little things I am thankful for
.
The words are wonderful!
Are you old enough to remember it?

Bee THANKFUL for little things, my friends.
See ya later.
Bee well!!

    • I love, love, love this song! Bob & I teach Sunday School (we miss our little class right now… one of them is a girl about to turn eight-years-old, so you see how pertinent we felt this was). God bless you for sending it. I’ll be singing it all day! <3

      • I am glad it touched you. We never know the extent to which our actions do touch others. We just need to continue to trust Him that He will fulfill His will in and through us.
I am sure that the children you taught miss your smiling faces. Maybe you could call them. I know just any little thing we can do means alot. Especially now. God be with you as you go about your day. Air hugs to you! ♡♡♡

      • Thanks for the suggestion. I will call them now! <3

      • Jan, I don’t know how comfortable you are with a camera, like on your phone, I was thinking maybe your husband could video tape you. You could still do your lesson for your kids and countless others. Just post it on here. You could even attach a coloring page to go along with it. Make it special by naming it like ‘Tuesday Trumpet Time’ or ‘Wonderful Word Wednesday’ Then you could still connect with the children. Just send the parents the link. You have such a beautiful face and caring heart, I think it’d be awesome. Pray about it. Let me know if you do. I have an 11 and 15 year old, and grandkids that are younger. Just an idea. ♡

  4. Jan, this absolutely made my day! I’ve never heard the song but it’s a favorite now! I love you constant positivity and your abundant sharing of joy!! God bless you my friend!! 🌻☀️💛

    • Good!! I am so glad you heard and enjoyed it! I love it, too. Little things DO mean a lot! <3 This song as popular in my youth. It's always been one of my favorites <3

  5. Jan, this song I have played 10 times so far this morning. It is blessing me so much that i want to share with you. Part of it says His blood runs through my veins. Such powerful truths in this song. Be blessed my friend.

    • I listened, I sang along, and I kept waiting for that trail to open up to a large expanse of open, flowering meadow!! That’s what happens when Bob & I take our ATV out on trails a little wider than that one, but equally as beautiful. I am a Child of God… looking forward to open meadows, trail rides, and fields of spring flowers again. No longer slaves of COVID-19!

  6. Amen! ♡♡♡

  7. Beautiful song! I always appreciate listening to a new song, even better it is an oldie, but goodie. Very thankful with being healthy and alive, safe and secure at home, and even more thankful my extended family is healthy and safe.
