Oct. 1st in Montana

Usually when we get a light snow, a couple days later it has melted and we can see the mountains and light residue that remains. But today, Tuesday, after a weekend of snow, the trees still are laden.

And the Bridger Mountain Range is not visible from this place that usually displays them in all their glory. October 1st is early for this vista.

Meantime, in Switzerland, that place known for its Alpine whiteness, my daughter, De and grandson, Chris, are enjoying a sunny autumn day at the state fair.

Meantime, back in Montana, it’s 35 degrees.

Brrr! See ya later. Stay warm. Happy Winter Autumn!

  1. wow! 35 degrees…….it’s 90 degrees here today.

  2. Jan this was wonderful. My daughter shared with me on yesterday that Montana got snow. I immediately thought of you. Stay warm and take care. Seems like summer just started in Switzerland. 🤗🌸

    • Thank you for your comments. No, summer hasn’t just started there. Switzerland is seeing the last of its warm weather for a while, too… little by little. In contrast, our ending was quite abrupt!

  3. My daughter in Bozeman is looking forward to another great winter of skiing, but not quite yet. Weather in central Ohio has been in the 90s since Sunday, but fall will be here on Friday. Hooray!
