But, they’re all my parents’ fault

They’re so visible

My mom was Irish

With some Scots and English, too

Opinions flourished

Dad was Italian

Cried at the drop of a hat

Sentimental Love

So on St. Pat’s Day

I can blame both my parents

For everything wrong

I seldom hold back

My feelings are no secret

Worn on my socks, too!
