She is 16 already.
Her sister will be 18.
Only days – not years –
Separate childhood
From adulthood.
Yesterday a baby,
Today a young lady,
Tomorrow an adult
With a family of her own.
Stop the clock!
I want to celebrate.
Celebrate love.
Today.
